I had a lesser model camera from Wildgame Innovations. It has taken good pictures for several years but the thing ate batteries like candy. The best I could get out of it was about 6 days duration. Perhaps because it has a flash. So I ran across a review for this camera and the most interesting thing to me was battery length. So I got one. It's been in the field only for a week and took 816 pictures!

The daylight pictures are surprisingly good. Clear, sharp, good color and contrast. The night time pictures are typical IR black and white. Not great but not bad for IR either.

Digital display only had a few pixels working even after putting brand new batteries in it. I left it a week and hoped for the best. All I did was waste the third set of new batteries I had put in it. REAL CAVEAT: They say it has a 1 year warranty but the fine print says you have to return the warranty card AND a copy of the sales receipt within 14 days after the date of purchase.
