Is that other disk getting detected with the CD/DVD drive on Windows 10? Did you tried restating your PC? If yes for all, then try to use some other PC to extract the game setup file to a USB stick. Once you had setup file on USB stick, then try to install and check if it helps.

A. Right-click on the Game setup file and click on ‘properties’. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8/8.1 or 7 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. The files were extracted and copied from CD to the hard drive. But now the game WILL NOT RUN. When I double-click the icon, I get asked for permission for 'this app to make changes to your PC'. Whether I click Yes or NO doesn't matter--the game will not load or display. Yes, I have re-started the computer and the problem persists.

I have also run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter numerous times and it can't get the game to load or display either. There has ti be a way to work around this.any other ideas? Thanks again. I don't use CFS so don't know what the contents are in your CFS folder.

Where is this folder located? Hot Wheels Mechanix Setup. In Program Files (x86)? Can you see an executable file (.exe); may look like CFS.exe? If so, right click on it - then click on Properties - then Compatibility - tick Disable display scaling. And also tick Run this Program as Administrator.
